Privacy Policy

TSUBASANA (the developer) explains below how information is handled in the iOS app Yacht War.

Saved game data

Equipment, settings, sector progress, personal bests and sortie energy are saved on your device. The app does not offer a game account registration feature or send this saved game data to a developer-operated server. Depending on your device settings, this data may be included in an Apple backup.

Online rankings (Game Center)

You can choose to connect to Game Center from Records. When you connect, the app submits eligible best times, including new times set while connected, to Apple Game Center. Your Game Center display name and scores are visible to other players in the leaderboards. The app stores your connected player identifier and submitted times on your device to prevent duplicate submissions. The developer may use App Store Connect to review or remove public leaderboard scores and block players who submit unfair scores. You can play without using the rankings. Ads and privacy choices

The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve ads and Google User Messaging Platform to manage consent. Google's SDKs may process IP addresses (which may be used to estimate your approximate location), device- and app-related identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and crash and performance information for ad delivery, analytics, fraud prevention and quality improvements. The information processed depends on your region, consent choices, device settings and the ads served.

At app launch, we check advertising consent where required and request iOS tracking permission if you have not already answered. Only with the required consent and tracking permission may advertising identifiers and ad activity be shared with advertising partners for personalized ads and measurement. If you decline tracking, the app disables personalization and, depending on your consent choices, requests non-personalized or limited ads, or does not show ads. You can still play the game if you decline. Google publisher first-party IDs remain disabled.

The app does not collect precise GPS location or request location permission. IP-derived approximate location and other information may still be used for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention.

When privacy choices are available, you can update them using the ad privacy settings in the app's Settings screen. You can change tracking permission in your iPhone or iPad Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Previously answered permissions are not requested on every launch unless your choices need to be updated or reconfirmed. Watching ads to recover energy or continue after being sunk is optional. Pricing

The app is free, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Watching ads to recover energy or continue after being sunk is optional.

Support inquiries

Your email address, inquiry and any attachments you choose to send are used to respond to your request, investigate issues and review inappropriate ads. They are retained for as long as needed to handle the request, then deleted when no longer necessary. Contact us below to request deletion or ask a question.

Deleting saved data

You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device. Offloading the app is different and may retain its data. Apple's settings and procedures govern backups. Deleting the app does not by itself delete scores already submitted to Game Center; refer to Apple's guidance. For information held by advertising services, refer to Google's guidance.
